This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Puzzle Jam ("we", "our", "the app") handles information when you use it. By playing Puzzle Jam, you agree to this policy.
Data stored only on your device: Puzzle Jam saves your game progress — including your score, coins, gems, dragon collection, achievements, streaks, event level progress, chosen theme, and the display name you optionally enter for the leaderboard. This information is stored locally on your device.
We do NOT collect: your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, or precise location.
Collected by our advertising partner: Google AdMob receives a device advertising identifier and standard technical information (such as device type, operating system version, country, and general IP-based location) in order to serve and measure ads. See Section 2.
Puzzle Jam is a free game supported by advertising through Google AdMob. The app shows three kinds of ads:
| Ad type | When it appears | Optional? |
|---|---|---|
| Banner | A small banner along the bottom edge during gameplay | No — shown automatically |
| Interstitial | A full-screen ad after you finish certain Event levels, and after you complete a daily Challenge. It never interrupts play mid-game; it appears only once a result screen is already shown, and can be closed after a few seconds. | No — shown automatically |
| Rewarded video | Only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward, such as coins or an extra shuffle | Yes — you choose |
To serve and measure these ads, Google AdMob may collect and use a device advertising identifier and related technical data. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
You can reset your advertising identifier, or opt out of ad personalisation, at any time in your device settings under "Ads" / "Google" settings. Opting out does not remove ads; it only makes them less relevant to you.
Puzzle Jam offers an optional online leaderboard, hosted on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore).
If — and only if — you choose to submit a score, the display name you type and your score are sent to and stored on that service. Submitting a score is never required to play, and you may enter any nickname you wish. We recommend not using your real name.
If you never submit a score, no game data leaves your device through this feature.
Puzzle Jam is intended for players aged 13 and over, and is listed on Google Play with a target age group of 13 and above. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
The app contains no chat, no messaging, and no social features other than the optional score leaderboard described in Section 3.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through this app, please contact us at the address in Section 8 and we will delete it.
On-device data: because your game progress is stored locally, you can delete all of it at any time using the "Reset all progress" option inside the app's Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
Leaderboard entries: if you have submitted a score and would like it removed, email us at the address in Section 8 with the nickname you used, and we will delete the entry.
Advertising identifier: this is controlled by your device, not by us. You can reset it at any time in your device settings.
The app uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect information as described in its own privacy policy:
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information relating to you, and to object to certain processing. Because Puzzle Jam stores game data on your device and collects no account information, most of this is under your direct control (see Section 5). For anything else, contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
